What a busy day!  We might look like sleepy-heads in our pajamas but we had an awards assembly for the first nine weeks and gave our Arkansas presentations.  Enjoy...

VIPS Reading Day

This week is National Reading Week.  There are several events happening this week to celebrate.  Today was VIPS reader day.  We were lucky enough to have the City Director, Joan Adcock come and read to our class.  Ms. Adcock is an advocate for the local animal shelter and she brought 3 books with her to read to us about animals and the importance of caring for them.  We enjoyed each story and Ms. Adcock taking time out of her busy schedule to share them with us! 

Meet the Author

 

Joe went to the Statehouse Convention Center this past week to meet Jeff Kinney, the author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.  It was an exciting evening and Joe waited over 3 hours to have his picture taken and get Jeff's autograph.  Jeff brought some friends along with him- Greg (Zachary Gordon) and Rowley (Robert Capron) from the movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  WAY COOL!

Mustang Cheerleading
